The movie trailer looks awesome even though it gives away too much. The look and feel seems authentic and very true to the time. Hugo Weaving is in this one. Hugo Weaving is one of the greatest, most under-rated actors of our time. V for Vendetta... Say no more.
I love comic book movies, even if they're bad. Exception being Fantastic Four - worst comic book movie ever.
I will probably own this film. Can't wait to see it.
This blog was inspired by Max Beerbohm (August 24, 1872 – May 20, 1956) an English essayist, parodist, critic and caricaturist. He was once asked how he wrote his book reviews. He answered, "I look at the book, write the review and, if I like the review, I'll read the book." I sort of apply Max's approach to movies. Kind of like judging a book by its cover... only judging a movie by its trailer.

Nope....the worst comic book movie ever is Batman and Robin (Batgirl's arse was the only good thing about it). Or maybe that made for TV thing from the '70s starring Kiss. Or maybe...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, Clooney and Chris O'Donnell were TERRIBLE. But the supporting cast kept it tolerable. Batgirl's arse? Alicia Silverstone? I don't remember it. I'm sticking with Fantastic Four in big screen terms.
