Even though the title reminded me of Snakes on a Plane... you know, matter-of-factly, I still read the synopsis.
Decent cast. Unite a dysfunctional group to rise against a common enemy. Timeless theme. What more can you say? Animanic stew? I'm intrigued. I guess that's what a trailer and/or synopsis are supposed to do.
Jon Favreau, eh? He was great as the nervous film maker in one of the seasons of The Sopranos.
I'm seeing this one on a big screen with tons of red licorice.
This blog was inspired by Max Beerbohm (August 24, 1872 – May 20, 1956) an English essayist, parodist, critic and caricaturist. He was once asked how he wrote his book reviews. He answered, "I look at the book, write the review and, if I like the review, I'll read the book." I sort of apply Max's approach to movies. Kind of like judging a book by its cover... only judging a movie by its trailer.
